Hi! I'm Yiting

About Me

I am a digital marketing specialist focused on helping brands grow through strategic content, consistent storytelling, and data-driven decisions. I work across social, SEO, email, and go-to-market messaging to turn content into a repeatable system, and let performance data decide what gets published next, expanding the reach and influence of brands on digital platforms.

How I Work

Design it, ship it, measure it.

Three disciplines, one loop — what I make, where it runs, and what the numbers say to make next.

Creative

Design systems and shoots, not one-off assets

  • Build reusable template systems in Canva and Figma so a team can self-serve on brand
  • Produce flyers, event graphics, and social assets end to end
  • Direct and edit short-form video for social

Marketing

Channels run as a system, not a posting schedule

  • Social, email and web copy in one brand voice
  • Keyword strategy through to on-page rewrites

Data

What I Do

Four things I run end to end. Open one to see the work behind it.

Selected Work

Four pieces of work across organic social, SEO, student events and paid — what I ran, and what it moved.

The nyu_tmi Instagram profile: 95 posts, 642 followers, story highlights for Class of 2025, TMI GAs and Events, and a post grid of course promos and Summer Webinar Series cards.
The NYU Tandon Department of Technology Management and Innovation LinkedIn page: 2,228 followers, the department overview, and a Page posts feed led by a graduate assistant hiring post.

Organic Social

NYU LinkedIn + Instagram

Ran both accounts end to end — sourced story angles with program staff, wrote and scheduled every post, and tracked post-level engagement in a self-built tracker.

400 → 1,000+ followers in 5 months

The published TeZign piece on Medium: the headline 'Years of Teaching Design to Learn AI | FAN LING', a 16 minute read dated July 23 2024 under the Tezign account, and the keynote stage photo captioned Tech x Design.

SEO & Content

TeZign keyword strategy + on-page rewrite

Built the keyword list from scratch using search volume and intent research, then worked with the web team to rewrite on-page copy — and wrote the long-form pieces the strategy pointed to.

Search inclusion up 56% in 3 weeks

The NYC Build With AI Hackathon event page: a Build with AI New York City 2026 banner with a packed lecture-hall group photo, hosted at NYU Tandon Room 202 by GDG NYC, showing 355 RSVPs for the March 27 evening session.

Student Events

NYU student events

Promoted in-person student events end to end — including a Google × NYU hackathon — writing announcement copy and outreach messages, producing the flyers and campus channel push, and coordinating with program staff and student orgs to drive turnout.

800+ attendees across 6 events, up 25% from the prior term

A hiTechMODA Instagram post promoting New York Fashion Week on September 6 and 7, with the full two-day runway schedule from Pageant Runway through Casting Designers and a ticket link, showing 116 likes.

Technical Projects

Hands-on data work alongside the marketing: dashboards, queries, and pipelines built end to end.

The nine-view Tableau dashboard: work-life balance by industry and continent, remote working by US state, job role versus stress level, mental-health condition counts, and company support versus work-life balance.

Remote Work & Mental Health Dashboard

  • Tableau
  • Kaggle open dataset

Built an interactive Tableau dashboard exploring the relationship between remote work and mental health, using a public survey dataset from Kaggle. Filters let a viewer compare outcomes across groups.

AI Startup HR. Our HR team deployed targeted interventions for our distributed staff. By using location filters to pinpoint high-stress remote and hybrid pods, we introduced flexible hours and localized wellness perks—boosting overall retention by 28%, cutting burnout absenteeism by 35%, and raising our satisfaction score from 3.2 to 4.7 out of 5 within six months.

Dataset: Impact_of_Remote_Work_on_Mental_Health (Kaggle) · n = 5,000 survey records · 15 worksheets across 9 published views · 1,000+ views on Tableau Public.

SELECT borough, COUNT(*) AS n FROM restaurant_inspections WHERE cuisine IS NOT NULL GROUP BY borough ORDER BY n DESC;

NYC Restaurant Market Analysis

  • SQL
  • MySQL Workbench
  • NYC Open Data

Wrote SQL queries over New York City restaurant data from NYC Open Data to count and compare the market. Records were cleaned and filtered to NYC, loaded into MySQL, enriched with a multi-column UPDATE … JOIN against a staging table, then grouped by cuisine type.
